Twitter Update: links to attachments are no longer included in 140 characters

Finally an important Twitter update is implemented. On the proposed changes, I had already informed in an earlier blog post (German).

Twitter Update: Of September 19, attachments (images, GIFs, surveys) are no longer counted, that means the the links to the attachments will no longer be deducted from the 140-character limit.

More space for text. 🙂

An inserted URL is incidentally still counted at the moment. So reduce the approximately 23 characters for the link from the 140 characters and you can use 117 characters for your Tweet text.
